Terms of Service — Sankalp (My Sanatan)

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Sankalp mobile application operated by My Sanatan ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Application

Sankalp provides astrological calculations, personalized Vedic ritual mantras (Sankalps), audio recitations, and panchang information. You agree to use the application respectfully and solely for lawful, personal, non-commercial spiritual practices.

2. In-App Subscriptions & Purchases (My Sanatan PRO)

Sankalp offers premium features through auto-renewable in-app subscriptions ("Monthly", "Yearly") and one-time purchases ("Lifetime Access") via Apple In-App Purchase and Google Play Billing:

Payment & Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
Managing & Cancelling Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings (or Google Play Subscriptions management). Subscriptions cannot be cancelled from within the app directly, as billing is controlled by Apple or Google.
Restore Purchases: You may restore your previously purchased subscriptions or lifetime access on any compatible device using the "Restore Purchases" option located on the upgrade screen.

⚠️ Important Notice Regarding Account Deletion:
Permanently deleting your Sankalp account or uninstalling the app does NOT automatically cancel active Apple App Store or Google Play subscriptions. To avoid unwanted renewal charges, you must cancel your subscription directly in your device's Apple ID or Google Play Store settings prior to deleting your account.

3. User Accounts & Data

You may use Sankalp in guest mode (offline) or create a cloud Yajaman account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You can delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time via Profile > Delete Account & Data.

4. Spiritual Calculations Disclaimer

All Vedic Panchang calculations (Tithi, Nakshatra, Muhurtas, Rahu Kaal) and Sanskrit verses are computed algorithmically based on astrological formulas and geographic coordinates. While we strive for authentic Vedic precision, these computations are provided for spiritual, cultural, and educational guidance only.

5. Intellectual Property

All designs, interfaces, branding ("My Sanatan", "Sankalp"), curated Sanskrit texts, audio recordings, and software code are the intellectual property of My Sanatan and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be noted with an updated date on this webpage. Continued use of the application following updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
